Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight is designed to help small and medium sized companies that ship or receive product in variable weight cases. Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight does not require the customer to have an existing computer system, nor does it require a network connection to an existing computer system. Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight software uses the Psion Teklogix Workabout Pro, a wireless handheld computer, to scan the barcode on each case label and record the weight of each case scanned for each product on the customer shipment. If a case does not have a barcode or the barcode is unreadable, Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight has a manual feature that will allow the user to enter the case weight. Trax-ITŪ Catch-Weight can also be used to scan inbound cases received from suppliers. Once all the cases on a receipt have been scanned the user can print a weight sheet, using a Bluetooth wireless connection to a printer. This weight sheet can then be compared with the weight sheet or invoice from the supplier to make sure the supplier has added up the case weights properly. This is a relatively easy way to make sure suppliers have there own systems functioning properly.
