Is a portable handheld solution designed for Veal or Beef producers and for feedlots

Trax-IT® Feedlot software utilizes the RFID ear tags for animal identification.

Data is collected using the PsionTeklogix’s WorkAbout Pro G2 handheld computer equipped with an integrated Agrident RFID reader.

The handheld operations include: animal receiving, animal weighing, feed history, recording of medications administered to animals, recording of animal deaths, and recording of animal shipments.

The system also includes a PC based desktop module that stores all data in a Microsoft® SQL Express database.

Data transfer between the handheld computer and desktop PC is done via a docking station. The Desktop module stores all the information about each animal and can also be used to ship groups of animals without scanning the animals as well.

Medicated animals are assigned a medical hold date; that the shipping module uses to warn the operator, so that the animals will not be shipped.
